Evan & Aimee Rosier
The leaders of the Vestan Clan, they’re a love match if anyone saw it. Who could say anything else when looking at what Evan gave up to be with Aimee? They have their disagreements from time to time and Aimee does love to keep her secrets (and to gossip when she has the chance) but they make it work. Evan may not be ready for this all the way but Aimee’s with him every step of the way, sometimes finding herself more involved in running things than her husband is.
Nobility
Robin & Marian Loxley
They love each other one moment and then despise each other the next. Yet Marian couldn’t see herself with anyone else. Sure, Rob gets into a lot of trouble with the law (thievery isn’t exactly a legal job) and Marian gripes at him to change, but somehow they make it work. There’s quite a bit of passion in this marriage and many disagreements end in the bedroom with the door firmly locked. Rob is second in command, it seems, in the chain of things within the clan.
Jeremiah and Emilia Gantz
Unlike the couple above, there’s real hatred between these two. A marriage made only to move themselves up in life, neither want anything to do with the other. Their fighting ends with plates thrown and voices raised but never will either resort to physical violence, thankfully. If there’s a softer side to Em, Jer has yet to see it; if Jer’s actually a good man, Em isn’t seeing it. These two have a lot to hash out but, if they work at it, maybe they can fix things. Jeremiah comes third in line within the clan.
Merchant Class
Ralph & Mary Shepard
Quiet and sure, Ralph and Mary have a stable relationship. They work well together, despite having two completely different viewpoints when it comes to science and religion. There was a lot of strife in the clan Ralph came from, which makes life here seem so much easier to handle. Ralph is a Healer and is called upon when matters of health are concerned.
Lucas and Fiona Jenkins
Driven from their old clan for reasons that neither share, Lucas means to start a new life for himself and one of his dearest friends. But there’s always been something off about Fi, who speaks to things that aren’t there and who seems to have moments where she isn’t herself. Time will only tell what’s to happen with them. Lucas has precognition as his power.
Peasant Class
Vincent & Miranda Stone
They’re truly livin’ on a prayer. With little to their name, Vincent and Miranda have big dreams and big plans for their life together. There’s quite a bit of love in this household, which seems to be enough when money is scarce between the two of them. Vincent is the lowest class of mage, able to do little spells but nothing quite as grand as the classes above him.
